Hello to all Chess Coaches, Players, and Sponsors!

We are now set for our second event of the year in the High School Chess League.  Holmes High School will host this tournament in their cafeteria on November 7, after school.  I hope to have the first round underway by 5:45.

The tournament format will be the same as always.  Clocks will be set at 15 minutes per side.  Everyone will play 4 games.  Pairings will be determined by the SwissSys pairing program, or an equivalent.  We will break into 2 divisions, Beginner and Advanced, but we could add a 3rd division if we get as many as 60 players.

I will send one more communication the week of the event to remind you to send me your lineup.
